New project in Kyrgyzstan in Education awarded by the EC DCI to Consortium led by European Profiles
In October 2010, European Profiles has been awarded as the Consortium Leader a new EC DCI project in Kyrgyzstan entitled "Support to the Kyrgyz Education Sector". The project has an overall budget of € 2.004.650 and is funded by the EC DCI. It is expected to finish in May 2013 and the beneficiary is the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) and Ministry of Labour and the Employment and Migration Agency for Vocational Education and Technical Education (MoLEM/AVTE).
The overall objective of the project is to assist the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to establish an effective system of general and vocational education and training, capable of delivering high quality services, maximizing the potential of the available human resources and responding to the needs of a rapidly changing labour market.
The Consortium for the implementation of this project is led by European Profiles and is also formed by UniServices Ltd, Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and Archidata.
