Description of Project:

Overall objective:

To further improve and strengthen the Russian National Coordinating Unit (NCU) in coordinating the EU-Russia cooperation programme as it is carried out at present and to assist the NCU in developing and implementing the EU-Russia cooperation in accordance with the common spaces in the 2007 - 2013 Financial Perspective.

Specific objective 1:

Support to the NCU in managing the EU-Russia cooperation (Tacis) programme in the existing framework (until 2007), including project design and implementation stages of the implemented projects at both federal and regional levels, through the LSO network, ensuring individual project quality as well as awareness of the programme as a whole.


Specific objective 2:

Support to the NCU in developing the EU-Russia cooperation programme for the 2007-2013 Financial Perspective, ensuring first steps in implementing the new programme (during the year 2007).
