European Profiles has been awarded as a leader of the Consortium, an EU funded contract in Egypt entitled “Enhancing the Employability of Youth and unemployed/low skilled workers, and improving their transition to employment”.
The project has a budget of € 4.310.000 and a duration of 26 months. The overall objective of this project is “to improve and enhance the structure and performance of the TVET system and TVET delivery in Egypt to better respond to the new socio-economic needs, in particular, youth employability and increased competitiveness in the context of the country’s current and future development”. The main purposes are: 1) Contribute to the employment of youth and fresh graduates by supporting Transition to Employment Units at Ministry of Education and Technical Education at the ministry, governorate, and school levels; 2) Establish a national career guidance and counselling system; 3) Establish/support a national structure to be responsible of the collection, analysis and dissemination of labour market information in Egypt.
